Myst Building & Trust Main Information

I decided I wanted to place to keep track of some of my stuff.  This is the start of my Myst Storyline.  There will be several more parts to this, many of which that are worked on after I host a contest.

Myst Building & Trust Storyline

The Start of the Myst Storyline -Prelude

November 2012 

Today was the day! Both nervous and scared, Liz Andersin, walked into the lawyers office. You see Liz's grandfather Thomas had recently passed away and while she missed him dearly and did not want to think about anything other then her found memories of him, she had been told more then once that she had to be here today! *taken one last deep breath she let out a sign and walked up the stairs to Bill Troven's office. Bill was a hardy man who was starting to go bald and wore glasses the size of coke bottles but he never seemed to let that bother him he was always smiling, today was no different. *cracking his best smile at Liz he lead her over to a high back office chair that looked like it could hold two of her! 

Hello, Ms. Liz, I am so pleased you could make it today! While I am sure you are said thinking about your father's passing I think you will be pleased with the reading of the will. 

Liz looked appalled! How could Mr. Troven think such a thing? She did not care what that will said! She just wanted her grandfather back! Thomas or Pa - Paw as she always called him had raised her since her mother dropped her off at his door at only 3 months old. Thomas son, Earl was her father but he spent more time in jail then he did out of it, not that it matter much he never cared about her - matter of fact when her mother dropped her off he wanted to let the state have her, if it wasn't for Pa-Paw Thomas who knows what would have happened to her! 

Bill seen that look in her eyes before and quickly tried to smooth things over with her! I do not mean that in a bad way honey, I know you miss him and wish he was still here but since you can not have that I believe this will, will allow you to have the second best thing. 

Wondering what in that world that could me she sighed and said, "well let's get on with it then". 

A Little Over A Year Later - November 2013 

Liz looked around the bare office, there was nothing left of the place she use to run around in when she was little. Her grandfather loved this place, he often spent more time here then he did at home. *wiping a tear from her eye she thought back to the day a year ago when Bill Troven, her families lawyer, had told her that everything was hers ... The log cabins, beach homes, rentals, even her grandfather company! It was all hers! She was just as stunned now as she was then. It had taken all of this time to get everything released and put into her name because her no good half brother Jack had fought hard to override her grandfather's wishes in his will. It was a nasty court battle and if he hadn't been such a nasty man she might would have let him have it, after all what did she know about running a business! 

She gave herself a mental shake to get her out of the funk she knew she was headed for, thinking about her grandfather always made her cry, but she told herself not today! Today she was going to be strong and see what needed to be done! As she looked around she seen empty room after empty room she started to invasion what the place could look like all fixed up. Deciding she needed help she called on "Myst Building and Trust" MB&T for short was a new up and coming jack of all trades company; so far she had only heard of a few things they had done but she was impressed with them enough to give them a try at this job if they wanted it of course! 

December 2013 

Liz showed up promptly at 8 am to meet Skye Myst the CEO and founder of Myst Building & Trust. While she was still nervous about starting such a venture as owning and running her own business she was also excited at the mere idea of it as well! 

Liz flipped through a magazine while trying to not look like she was impatient while she waited for Skye for the first time. Skye was a young women who had a reputation for her artist skills and fun and friendly personality. It wasn't long before a young women who barely looked older then herself, having just celebrated her 21's birthday that was saying something. With blue streaks in her and a sassy yet tasteful dress, Liz had a feeling that Skye was a ton of fun to hang out with. 

After a wonderful meeting together both Liz and Skye were all giggles and smiles as they wrapped up their meeting. Skye had agreed to take on the job of helping Liz get her first business started and off the ground, even thought Liz could not decide what type of business she wanted Skye seemed optimistic that she could have something wonderful done for Liz. 

With the shake of a hand and the signing of a few documents the job was Skye's. 

The Next Day 

As Skype flipped through floor print after floor print she still was not sure what type of business she should do for Liz, and she really wanted it to be perfect. After some thought she decided she needed some help - Liz was a sweet girl who deserved something amazing so she felt it was best to hire some outside help for this contract.

Forgotten Site

I had forgotten all about this site!

Looks like I do not need a blog site after awhile, I forgot in 2012 I came up with this site.

Chapter 1: Not in Riverview Any More!

Sky woke up her head was throbbing and she felt like she was going to be sick. 

Blinking she looked around the room she was in and realize it was not her bedroom!

 Another wave of nausea washed over her as she tried to think of where she was and how she got here!  She felt different but she was not sure how?  She remembered crying in her bedroom after another fight with her parents and then….

*rubbing her eyes she tried to think back*…..

And then that funny looking man was there telling her she could go someone different!  Oh my god had he kidnapped her fear started to overtake her and she could not breath!  Just than the door to the room she was in opened and the funny looking man came in wearing a lab coat.

“Relax little one I will not hurt you”, he said in a calming tone.  “My name is Samuel and you are on the plant called Lunar Lakes.” 

*smiling warmly he handed her a cup of coca and told her to keep taken deep breaths as he explained what was going on*

Sky was shaken but she did not think this Samuel would hurt her, after all if he was going to do so wouldn’t he have done that by now?

“Ok” she said taken a sip of the rich drink.  “I am listening, please go on”.

Samuel smiled and took a deep breath himself and went on.

“Your mother and you did not get along and she clearly had issues with you, well she contacted my company from an ad in the paper.  We are exploring the new lands of Lunar Lakes and needed people who were willing to move here and start over.  Since it takes a while to get here we seek out teenagers for the program.”

Sky sat there trying to take it all in, so she was not in Riverview anymore?  Is that why she felt differently?  How long did this “trip” here take she wondered?  As question after question swimming around in her mind she took another deep breath.

Samuel smiled warming and gave her a minute before he spoke again, “I know this is hard for you”, he said.  “You situation was different than most.  Most teenagers know all about the program and are in full agreement with going but when we arrived to collect you for the program we found out your mother never told you she signed you up and that you had no idea.  This is why I asked you if you could leave would you.  I did not have time to explain more but I wanted to you know wanted a fresh start”.

“So my mother gave me away?” Sky said in a rather high pitched voice.

“I always knew she hated me but to send me to another plant!”  Sky was starting to loss it but Samuel’s every calming voice told her to keep breathing. 

“I know this is a lot to take in Samuel said but I really think you will love it here.  We have a temporary house set up for you, which is what you are currently in, and we have builders who will work with you to build you finally house.  You can start on any career you wish but I heard you were a very talented singer so I hope you will continue to sing.  We have a bank account set up for you and will work on getting a car for you. I need to go take care of a few things so I am going to give you some time to think about all that has happen. If you need me you can reach me by dialing *77 on your phone.” 

He had a very thoughtful look on his face and as he turned to leave he looked back at a very confused Sky and said, “I promise you Skylynn your future is bright and I really believe you will like it here” with that he walked out the door leaving her there to take it all in.

Fallen Down The Rabbit Hole - Prelude

This Story was inspired by my good friend on the Sims 3 forum Blythe.  The Prelude was written as a gift to her for May's Gifting Angel and I hope to be able to continue to work on it......

Prelude: Fallen Down The Rabbit Hole

Skylynn was often called a troubled teen growing up; it seemed no matter how hard she tried she always seems to do the wrong thing and get into trouble.  When she was three she clogged up the toilet in her parents bathroom with the papers in her mother’s “important documents” box; she can still remember the look on her mother’s face when she walked into the bathroom.  When she was five she was told by her teacher she could “express her feelings” through art …. So she drew a picture of her teacher picking her nose on the wall in the classroom with finger paints.  This behavior went on and on and when she hit her teen years Skylynn just found more creative ways to get into trouble!

Her parents were always yelling at her, and she spent more time in detention in school than she did in class!  She had all but given up on every doing anything right!  That night after a practically bad fight with her parents, because she snuck out of the house to super glue her pictures of her cheating boyfriend wearing a dress all over the lockers at school, she laid in bed thinking over here troubles.

  “I can’t believe I got caught again”, she thought to herself.  “How was I to know the janitor worked so late in the evenings?  And, as far as my cheating boyfriend Sam well he deserved what he got for making me think he loved me only to make fun of me in front of everyone at the biggest school dance of the year!” As she lay in bed crying and wishing she could live this place and everyone behind she heard a loud pop that sounded almost like a bomb and then the towns alarm started to go off.  Going over to the window Sky looked to see what all of the ruchais was about…….

But before she got to the window a funny looking man appeared in front of her.

“Hello deary, it seems you could use my help”, he said with a giggle and a snort! 

Looking at him like he had three heads Sky asked him “Oh, and just how it is I need your help?”

“Patients my dear we shall get to that but first tell me something”, he funny man said.  “Do you really wish you lived somewhere else?”  Would you really be willing to give up all you know for a fresh start?

Without missing a beat Sky replied “Of course I would I hate it here and no one likes me not even my parents!”

Well my dear than I shall help by making it all stop, he flicked his hands and said something she could not understand and as she stared up at him her mind started to go blank and she felt like she needed to sleep.  She tried to walk to her bed but before she could sleepiness over took her and she closed her eyes……….

Neglected....

Ok so I have been neglecting this site for awhile.  I hope to get it updated soon so I can start using it for my new legacy I am starting.
